now that you mention it i have seen 8-11 foot scrubs, retics, anacondas, burms, and afrocks. i believe they were called yearlings. joking aside, if you are looking for that particular size i know that the coastal carpets get to be around that area as well do the "true" redtails (surinames, guyanans, etc). ive heard of some female dumeril's getting to be around 8 but generally they max at about 7-8. im not sure about the less sought after herps, such as the papuans, macklotts, boelen's, savus, white lipped, hog islands, soloman islands, bolivians, and tumbes. individual research on the type that interests you is the best bet. try going to http://markmlucas.com/ and checking out his galleries on many boas, pythons, and colubrids. find the ones you like and do your research from there. good luck.
