At this moment the red axanthic is over rated but we have not seen any crosses with it because it's too rare. over the next 2 or 3 years we should get a good idea of where it's going in the market place and it's potential. in my opinion the most over-rated morph out there is the lav albino. Ok before i get bashed for saying so, it takes quite awhile for them to develop their nice coloring versus a hatchling carmel or coral glow which show very similar purple's and contrasting patterns. If you want the bright yellows of the lav albino and subtle purple that is the snake for you, but if and when I get a purple and yellow snake it will either be a carmel or coral glow. yes I know the caramel isn't yellow and purple but it is still nicer than a lav albino in my opinion.
The most under-rated morph has to be either the mojave or yellow-belly. Yes they produce white snakes, but they are white snakes with flavor not JUST white. The crosses with both of these morphs are beautiful and at prices that most hobby breeders can afford. That's my 2 cents on the subject, bash away. ----- Josh Hutto
