I understand what your saying about the fact that it takes awhile for the lav to show its colors, but they are one of my favorite morphs. Adults are mind blowing... caramels dull out as they get older. I would rather own an animal that grows into its color and then maintains it then one that loses its color as it gets older, a snake is only young for so long. Where as a Lav will look stunning for 20 plus years. Dont get me wrong, i love and own caramels too, but i would chose a lav over one. I am breeding a Caramel pos het O. ghost to a DBL het for Lav Alb and Caramel Alb this year , only time will tell but hopefully the outcome will be a snake that hatches colorful and remains the same way!!!
