it can be tough to find something that has the large footprint for a larger snake, while still being low to the ground and a tight fit.
a number of plastic planters and bases can be found at Home Depot, and we have used rubbermaid trash can lids for years with large Balls and Bloods and stuff with great success. the Vision bowls also work well, as they are hollow underneath and make for a tight fit.
