Thanks for that link.

There are a ton of bugs in the pen area. I move the plates every other day and there are always tons of worms and slugs around it. I move it when the turtles are in the area so they can get to them.

I do offer up moistened dog chow every couple of days as well.

There are dandelions in the pen and I recently came across some hydroponically grown grasses (brought to me from some of my truckers that get it at the racetracks where it is sold for the horses). In fact, in some of the pictures I posted yesterday you can see some of it in the water bowl.

I couldn't give you a breakdown of what percentage of what is being eaten but I will work on increasing the protein. I do have beefheart in the freezer that I keep for my discus. I'll add some of that and see how they like it.

I wanted to dig out a spot for a bigger water bowl but I don't think I'll be digging in there anytime soon. That being said, I'll have to hold off on the feeder fish for awhile.
