Blue eyes are recessive and brown are dominant aren't they. A blue eyed parent with a homozygous brown eyed parent will always have brown eyed children that are het for blue. Couldn't one of the parents been het for blue and the other het for green, wouldn't the brown override it. Green shows up when the parent is carrying blue and green, the green overrides the blue, like a mojave het albino? You won't see the albino unless you have homozygous albino. My hubby is green eyed, I'm blue eyed, my three daughters triplets are 1 blue eyed and the identicles are both green eyed. My mother was blue eyed but my father was brown eyed, but my grandmother on my fathers side is blue eyed. Also anyone know what makes hazel eyes? My younger sister has gorgeous hazel eyes, both mom and my step dad are blue eyed but dads mom had hazel? ----- Nita Hamilton
