I'm having trouble finding information online. I want to purchase my first snake next month when they have the big convention in Daytona Beach, FL as I like in Tampa. I mainly looking for info housing, what will I need, what's best to feed snakes

I have no idea what kind of snake I want at the moment. I do know I want something cool, and exotic looking. My stepfather used to own a Ball Python and Cali Kingsnake...so i'd like to get something different.

Sorry if this post doesn't make too much sense, just basically looking to find some good, solid info for new snake owners. So I know what i'm getting myself into and can plan properly before rushing into things.
