I read on Melissa Kaplan's website that feeding mice (whole preys) are healthier than feeding inverts. The only thing I would do is try cutting on feeding your Savy mice to only twice a week so he wouldn't get so obese and it'll less expensive for you. and this is according to someone she talked to that has great amount of experience with monitor lizards.

Some people on this forum recommend feeding Savy inverts, such as crickets, mealworms, nightcrawlers, etc...only.

Now, it's confusing for newbies like us to try to sort through information. Maybe somebody would shed some light on this.
