Help! Help! A fox snake that hitch hiked home w/my boyfriend from camping has just laid a clutch of about 9 eggs (from what I can count).
What do I do?! It literally just happened. She had not laid the eggs when I woke up, so it just happened in the last hour or two.
I have never had a clutch of snake eggs, and have no idea what to do now. This snake was an accident! I only put it in a cage to keep it till my boyfriend returned to the U.P. in Mich (next weekend!). to return it where it orgininated. Now I need help!
Do I need to put the eggs someplace different? Do I need to remove them from the cage? Any kind of humidity/heat requirements? How long do they take to hatch? What temp do they need to develop?
Jeez, I only keep snakes as pets. I did not expect this. It's very cool...but I want to make sure I don't kill the eggs. ----- ~Vicki
