Posted by: blichtenhan at Tue Jul 11 21:48:43 2006 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by blichtenhan ] Pictured is an '04 male ultra caramel motley that was bred to 2 female butter motleys this last spring, and 2 clutches have hatched so far. We were not sure, up to now, if the male was a golddust motley or an ultra caramel motley. And the great news is that all the babies are golddust motleys! 20 babies and not a single butter motley. This means the male is an ultra caramel mot and not a golddust mot. The babies look dark coming out of the eggs, but I have noticed over this last week that they do seem to be lightening up.
