>>I guess I should point out that I think we have all baby golddust. They certainly are dark. I suppose it is possible the male is a amber motley, and all the babies are caramel mots het hypo het albino. I will be anxious to see what they look like after their first shed. And I really posted all this to see what you all think might be the genetic make-up of these babies, thanks,
I know everybody talked about how "yellow" the Goldust were in the beginning, and they are extremely saturated with color, but compared to a Butter Motley they are a darker shade of yellow when they are born. Their name is very fitting. They are a goldedn yellow color rather than a lemon yellow. Butter Motleys can vary a great deal too, from a butterscotch color to a lemon yellow and so do the Goldust, but over all the Goldust are darker than Butter Motleys. The eyes are the key. They will either be yellow or blue, with ruby pupils. This can easily be seen when they are born. If you are not sure they are ruby pupils, then perhaps they are not Goldust, but I have a feeling yours are. I sure hope so, because I have a sibling to your Ultra Caramel Motley!!!
