Well, look at it this way...
6 babies will be a lot easier to feed and house. You could have had to handle 20 or more!
True story:
I used to work at a herp specialty shop in addition to my "real" job. One day a woman drove up to the store in a small sedan, walked in and said she had veiled chams to sell, and would someone come look at them. I went out to the car expecting something in a cage only to see about 20 babies dangling all over a dead bush lying on the back seat and more crawling miserably around the upholstery and floor mats. When the clutch hatched (they didn't even know their female was gravid) they just kept them in the car for several days until they got around to bringing them to the shop.
