Well, not quite! The shop took them all just to get them away from their "keeper". Half of them didn't make it I think (I was only part time). The other babies were sold, but their buyers got a pamphlet I had developed for the shop. So, I'm hoping they got decent care after their rough start. I don't know how many did OK after that. I also had a person to person training that a customer had to listen to before we would sell a cham to them that outlined the realities of cham care including costs, supply list, vet contact list, etc. There was cage display showing how to set them up correctly (live plants, fogger, dripper, correct lighting, screen cage, etc). Sometimes a customer convinced the owner to sell the entire setup along with a cham so I got to build another one. All this was great until the shop was sold and the new manager didn't choose to give so much attention to chams. Then it was back to the old "order off a wholesale list, drop them in a tank and watch them die" routine. Made me sick to see lovely little wc animals so poorly treated. I'd take the tank setups apart, move them to a cooler secluded area, and set them up decently only to find all my work taken apart again the next week. I finally quit the job and reported the shop to animal control inspectors.
