Posted by: rhyion at Sat Jul 15 21:04:15 2006 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by rhyion ] luckily sand boas are slow and dumb, he probly isnt too far away, search under everything you can. do you have heating/ac vents it could have crawled into? then there could be a problem, but if not, im sure it is findable. search under couches, furniture, bookcases, etc. ive heard many stories of paople finding there sand boas over a month later too. so if it doesnt show up right away, chances are you will probly see it again sometime. mines escaped 3 times before i finally found the place she was getting out of. i have one of those plastic containers you find at any pet store, and theres a little hatch on top that could be lifted. so i just taped that hatch down and it hasnt escaped since. and also, ive thought ive lost my sand boa when it was really still in the tank, so make sure its really gone. good luck, keep us posted on the search.
