Hey Paul,

I think you bring up some interesting points. Does the CA line match the Columbian line. My friends Brother wanted to invest in a Super to make MORE supers, but it is in question weather or not breeding one of your Supers to a Motley or Hypo Motley would make supers because we don't know if they are compatible. I agree, I don't know why anyone would do it, but I think it would interesting to see IF they are compatible.

Second, the Motleys that you posted below look a lot more Columbian then CA. Especially that bottom picture. That looks just like many of my Columbian Motley to Hypo Siblings that are Motley. That would make sense since many of the Hypos have CA bloodline in them. I thought the Motleys that Tom produced from yours and James snake were BEAUTIFUL Motleys and will make Awesome T postiives, but I didn't see the resemblence you are talking about to Petes. I think they look similar, but they have more of the Circular look. I personally think that the Columbian Gene takes over when breeding to CA's more then the CA does. I have seen this many times in many of my other breedings with the Blizzard bloodline. Even when you have 1/4 Columbian, it still has a Strong influence. I can see that in Argentine Crosses too. However, the Argenetine takes over a lot more then the Columbian does.

As to your point about the Supers, I think it will be local. I think you are going to see many different looks to the Supers according to the Local. I personally don't have any problem with the crosses, and I think that your T positive Motleys from the CA 1/4 Colubian line may actually make a better looking CA t positive because of the colors involved in your snake. You are even seeing many different Super Colors from the Same local, so I'm pretty much thinking that if you change the local a little, you'll see a different color too.

Anyway, good discussion, and it will be interesting to see what the future brings. Jeremy
