I forgot to mention about the lining for the floor. If you use this sectional idea you'd want to cover the floor and the areas where you bolt them together ( I'd make sure to cover both ends of the bolts so the snake cannot rub on the metal edges). Depending on if you use a framework or different design to make the cages will dictate how you cover the floor, theres lots of good ideas for that in the Cage and Hab forum.
