I just started using f/t for my juveniles - I put the frozen rodents into a zip lock bag into a pot of hot water, and used a coffee bug to weight it down.

Warm but pretty dry.

I suppose for large quantities, that wouldn't be practical.
Once all my snakes are readily taking them so I can buy bulk, what I plan to do is vacuum seal the rodents in packs of 6 a piece - so that I can just throw the vacuum sealed bags into the warm water to warm them (thawing them overnight in refridge the day before feeding day).
