Helpful Hint.
I vacuum seal f/t rats, mice, and small chickens. To avoid a big mess in the baggie with your food item be sure and puncture the bag to allow air back in before thawing.
The vacuum inside the baggie will draw blood from the mouth of the food item as it thaws. It will turn a baggie of white mice red and is messy.
Allowing air back into the baggie will prevent this.
