it was all figured out.

Didn't Bill use a Blood 66% het Pewter X DH Colombian Ghost and produced Anerys (they may have been ghosts)? This would mean that the El Salvador Type II is compatible. And you bred a Pewter to a NIC Hypo het Type II. So El Salvador Type II is compatible with SOME kind of Nic Type II.

One theory that has existed with Type IIs is that they are not all genetic, some are just dark boas. The Black Tails are throwing this for a loop.

Someone needs to breed the following:
Colombian Anery X Nic Type II
Colombian Anery X Nic Black Tail
Colombian Anery X Pewter
Stone Blizzard Type II X Colombian Anery
SB T II X Nic Type II

MAYBE then, we will know all the answers.

I also have two more questions for you Jeremy.
First, the dam to this litter looks very small. How long is she, her girth, and her weight (pre-breeding)? I am thinking of breeding my '04 66% het Blood female this year, and I think she is ready, but I want some size comparisons.
Second, do you have a picture of the sire Pewter? I haven't seen an adult yet.

Thanks,
Chris
