I made my red tail boa a cage that was 4'x2'x2' about a year ago. He is about 4 1/2 feet long and its a great size cage for him right now. However, I was not aware that mesh instead of glass could cause problems to the boa if he rubbed up against it. Its been a little bit over a year now, and hes had no problems with the mesh, but upon finding out about the mesh problems that can occur, should I change it to glass? He hasnt had any problems, eats healthy, tame as all hell. I was just wondering if I should make the walls glass instead. Please give me some insight, thanks. -greg-
