I have to agree with you on that. If the vanilla/thunder/cyclone are different lines of the same mutation (KEY WORD HERE IS "IF" just put your mane on it. A pastel is a pastel is a pastel. You just have different people's names on them for their lines but they are all pastels. Since weather seems to be the theme why not name them the "stormy" morph and put your own name in front or behind it to distinguish various lines. Remember the end consumer of all this is the general public. If you make things to confusing you will more than likely discourage people rather than encourage them.
