Thanks for all your terrific posts. I can see characteristics of "harlequin" but the trait seems so variable it's sometimes difficult to tell what is and what isn't a harlequin. 
I heard that someone proved the trait to be dominant (not yet proven co-dom) but the photos I saw looked more like "non-genetic" striped vs "harlequin." Has anyone really proved this out? More information about if this should be a dom/co-dom trait, simple recessive, etc. and pics of parents with babies would be really cool to see.
