Start cool down in October - Start putting males with females November - Let them breed until you see ovulation.
Ovulation is when the female moves the eggs down into her oviducts to be fertilized by the sperm she has collected during the breeding season, if she hasn't mated then she won't ovulate - or if she did you'd get slugs because they wouldn't be fertile. ----- Tosha
