"I would anticpate the prices on these guys to INCREASE as more things are proven out."
Anyone else remember in 2004 when Mojave prices got jacked-up to $30,000 each?
How long did that last? A weekend? A week??
Ever consider that in the time between now and when 'more things are proven out' that HUNDREDS more legitimate YBs will be bred/hatched/imported.
At this point, atleast a HUNDRED people are producing YBs. Do you expect that they'll all simulatenously raise their price? Of course not.
Hypothetically, what would happen is a handful of breeders would raise their price, and end up sitting on their higher-priced YBs while the majority of breeders sell theirs at lower prices and supply the demand.
