last fall I acquired a male ball and a few months late , due to a temporary caging crunch I housed him with my "male" 17 year old ball named Jake. Well this spring Jake laid 6 eggs! I purchased jake years ago and just assumed he was male and since I was not considering breeding I didn't check myself. I put these eggs in an incubator in two different containers. About two weeks into incubation my puppy found the cord and managed to topple the incubator! Three of the eggs flipped over completely. I put them back and held my breath. We now have six healthy baby balls inspite of everything and after my first try at feeding them 5 out of 6 have eatten. Talk about beginners luck. Thanks to everyone who helped from here!
