I have no live pinkies (I stopped raising my own feeders when I got too many snakes, switched to rodent pro). I would have to buy them and at this point, I have about 25 hatchlings that are going on week 5 that are not eating regularly, if at all. About 20 that have not taken any meal on their own at all. I don't know the cost of pinkies in other areas, but around here, they are $1 each. I know $25 does not seem like much, but I already spend $100 a month of frozen food (I order $300 worth every 2 and a half to 3 months). If you take $25 per feeding, twice a week, thats like $200 for a month to feed only 25 snakes. If at all possible, I'd rather get them on f/t. Of course, if it came down to them dying, I would definitely do live. Otherwise I would not deserve to own snakes. That is why if this does not work, I will try live. I just wanted to exhaust all my options first.
Thanks for the feed back!
