I spent $400 on a hatchling rack that held 18 tubs. Although the rack is very nice, there is no way I'd buy another. So, I decided to build one. I saw the post below and decided I'd post pictures of the one I built a few weeks ago. I have another 30 hatchlings due by september, so I will need another rack.
The rack I built has a top shelf that can have an adult tub in it or the 6 hatchling tubs. The shelves are all adjustable as well. The tubs in the pic are 6 qt tubs. The depth is 16" deep, allowing 3.5" of space to move the tubs closer to or farther from the heat. Each tub is 5" tall with the lids and 8" wide. It took me about 30-40minutes to make and about $80-$90 to build (with supplies left over).
I will also include the pic of the black rack that I bought
