Wow! He/she really was emaciated! Glad things seem to be turning around and the eye issue is very good news so far.

Just curious on that last photo of the bunch. Something seems stuck to his/her jaw. Are we just seeing his/her tongue poking thru? I've heard of something called mouth rot before but I'm not sure what it looks like. Not trying to scare you or anything. Just was something I noticed.
