Make sure you have the room, supplies, and food for all the babies. I have 1 female that has laid 18 eggs already this season, and still has a few more months to produce many more.



Remember that once they start to breed you cannot stop them from laying eggs by removing the male.



However, if you can find homes for 24 Leos or plan to keep them all then I would do it. It can be a fun rewarding experience and is not hard to do at all. If you already have a correct set up it is as easy as adding a male. Incubation is a bit tougher but it is really the fun part of the whole process. It is like christmas every few weeks when they hatch.



I would buy a good book on leos as most have at least a chapter on breeding. The one from AVS is only like $10 and availiable at most big pet stores like petsmart.
