I recently decided to join in and play the "ball game" by purchasing a few reduced pattern animals. My question is, are hatchling ball pythons' spurs relative to their sex? Is there a noticable difference in male vs. female hatchlings' spur size?
The reason I ask is, after noticing the size of spurs on one of my recent acquisitions that was popped as a "female", I am wondering if she is a he? The spurs stick out and are very apparent while in hand.
Any feedback would be appreciated.
Thanks for your time,
Scott
Below is one of my yearling males that is old/large enough to probe.
