I am looking to get into breeding snakes. I currently own a red tail boa and a cornsnake. Since corn snakes are easy to care for, and generally speaking the best beginner snakes, I figured the best way to get into the breeding of snakes would be to try it with my corn snake.

1. I do not currently know the sex of my corn snake, nor the correct morph term, although it has the red (albino) eyes, but is not white, i think mountain albino? it looks almost like a regular cornsnake, except it has red eyes and its color is alot lighter. (not sure the name cause i got it from petco years ago). so my question is, what is the best way to get a snakes sex determined.

2. What would be the best snake to get to try and mate mine with, any suggestions, ideas?

3. also, what is the correct temperature that i would need to keep the eggs at, and would i need an incubator?

please help me out with my questions, and provide any insight if you can, especially if you have done this before. Im not necesarilly trying to become a breeder by any means, just for fun, to see if a, i can do it, and if i can, i may try with my red tail later on.

thanks, greg.
