personally i would wrap the heater in aluminum foil and then in a washcloth and put under the plastic. that way its not 100% on the plastic to make it melt. aluminum foil cuts the temp down a lil and just in case the aluminum gets hot the washcloth is there. but i'll probably get in trouble for telling you that by someone. but thats just my 2 cents
