I have an 03 female boa that i bought about 4 months ago from a very reputable breeder. She seems healthy, sheds normal, stools look normal..however i have not yet done a fecal exam.

She just doesn't eat. She's eaten 3 time since i bought her. At first i was trying to feed f/t, but she never took. I called the breeder and he said she would only feed p/k. So then i bought p/k and she ate 2 large rats right off the bat. However, since then, she's refused every time. I don't get it.

Her conditions are optimal, no problems there. She just turned 3 years old...could this just be her comjing into maturity...or is there something else i should be looking for, or are there other feeding techniques i could use.

I really want her to fatten up some so that she could breed for me.

Thanks for any advice.
J.C.
