Hi there,

Power outage huh? Eek.. I hate that. Well.. this is what I
do... I fill 2 litter bottles with cold water, wrap them in a towel and put them into the cages with the boas. Then I try to change them out every 40-60 minutes as they need to be. They will wrap around them or lay next to them usually. When it's too cold and power goes out, I take the heat packs for shipping, again wrapped in a towel, one or two in each cage. I use towels since they seem to dissipate the temps and the snake isn't coming into direct contact with the suddenly different temps.
Good luck!
I've been lucky (knocking on wood) that I haven't had any power outages in the summer here in Vegas.
