The first one I ever saw was in my back yard in Oceanview. One of my neighbors told me he found a copperhead. So he takes me to this peice of wood and tells me its under it. I lifted the wood and there sat a rainbow snake. I didn't know what it was at the time but I knew it wasn't a copperhead. I picked it up and went back to my house and got out the trusty north american feild guide. I found lots of earth snakes and a few more rainbow snakes, hog nose, and black rats in the yard and the ajacent lot/creek. Ahhhhh the good old days. [ Hide Replies ]
