I have recently come across a baby longnose snake. I waited a few days to try and feed it. I put a small pinkie mouse in there but all it does is strike it and pick it up. It won't eat it yet.The last longnose i had was full-grown and ate mice with no problem. Do i need to force feed it, or just give it time. I am sure after a while once it gets hungry enough it will eat mice.I know they eat lizards, but that is a lot of money to feed the snake each week.
