I had something similar happen, I rescued a guyana BCC that was very thin and had to be force fed, I took him to the vet and turned out there was a huge parasite load... started treating with meds through a tube per the vet's instructions. The hardest part was when he actually started to look better.. but then he died a few weeks later. Sometimes they really are already so far gone by the time we try to rescue them.. it's just too late. Just take solice that you tried, did your best and hopefully made those last few days comfortable for the boa. My sympathies. | ||
