>>I was wondering if someone knew (or had experiance) breeding Spotted Pythons. I was thinking abou breeding my pair in the not so near future. My female's about 1 yr now and is feeding every 6-8 days on fuzzies. What's the recommended length, weight, and all that other stuff.

My personal and limited experience with Childrens pythons is to wait til three years old.
I got my pair as a pair that just wouldn't produce. They were 5 yrs old and the female arrived gravid. (yes, the guy wanted to shoot himself when I told him) Her first clutch had problems....with me (a newbie), her being shipped I don't think helped and my incubation was far from perfect all told the 16 eggs only produced 3 babies. Anyway. The following couple years the clutches are more robust, stronger and she recoups faster. Both parents put on growth for me even at that age. And now I am raising some of the offspring and the one that is 3 is barely what I would consider breeding next year.
