I have a male now that I am considering breeding to one of my "Ugly" leonis phase next year. I am also considering buying back a male I sold to a customer several years ago. It seems that they are the ugly stepsister of the thayeri world because it does seem like not many people are working with them. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that you can't "improve" on the melanistic phase thus it is difficult to cultivate a new morph that you can justify charging many more dollars for. Just look at all the colors popping up in the leonis phase and you will know what I am talking about. [ Hide Replies ]
