or.....why I've been gone from the forum However, I will say that I have truly enjoyed all the beautiful new baby pics on here (I have taken the time for some quick lurks..hehe)

OK - OK - I know. This isn't a boa, but I've seen everything from motorcycles to dogs on here....so here is a brand spanking new baby hayburner. I will tell you this - mares can be as maddening at making you wait as boa girls. This girl made us wait for 3 WEEKS!! It was worth it though, for a nice foal like this little boy. He is one week old today. These are the first pics I have taken of him. I'll get some better ones to bore you with as time passes. Right now, they are kind of dirty - especially Mom. She is being very protective (YaY) and won't let us near him and I haven't pushed the issue yet. She deserves to have him to herself for a while....after carrying him dang near a year

These days, it's all about Mom and the "food supply"
