They are not as small as I thought they would be. I went back to my my reptile store down the street and bought the regular sized mealworms. Of course since I got them today I guess they don't feel like eating. I put a few in the bowl anyway though, just in case. So I got to looking online and I figure it is easier to buy them in bulk than in groups of 50 every week. While I was looking I found butterworms. The website says they are pretty nutritional. Does anybody know if they would be good for leos. So far I'm ordering mealies- $6 for 1000, small crixs - $15 for 500, and small supers - $6 for 100. I want to give them a really good selection. If anybody else feeds anything else that is nutritious can you give me some input. Thanx. By the way, they are in a 3ft long, 2 ft wide, 1 1/2 ft tall enclosure. It was originally made for one of my rosys but I never got to use it. They have a UTH and a 15 watt light during the daytime, just a normal house bulb, for day/night cycles. There is a water bowl on the cool side along with 2 hides. The food bowl is on the warm side to keep the mealies active and there is calcium with no D3 or phosphorus so when they grab a mealy they get calcium. There is a humid hide and a normal hide on the warm side as well. I think that is all. I will take some pics and put them on here. SOrry for the long post, I'm just so happy they are finally here. I've been waiting forever. Any info on the butters and other feeders would be appreciated. | ||
