I would have to agree, sperm retention. 50% of the clutch, 3 out of 6 is the expected result of breeding a co-dom snake. The colors in all 3 snakes look to be pastel. The 3rd pic shows head blushing. Most important, they don't look anything like a YB.

I would guess that she was bred last year, borderline size. Retained the sperm and this year she was large enough and in proper condition to ovulate and produce eggs.

Just curious, is the YB a first year breeder?
