At least I got her good side...she was a rescue from a dog attack. I rehabbed her for months. She had a chewed off rear leg, a deep puncture in her shell, and some other minor scrapes. The puncture took forever to heal. Due to the constant treatment, she hates me. She'll stay in her shell for hours if I dare to touch her. The funny thing is, she doesn't mind my dog. He can sniff her through the hardware cloth and she stretches her neck to sniff him back. She's Egbert's lady (Egbert is pictured in my album). They make very pretty babies. Soon, I may actually be able to keep some. I may be able to get a permit to possess more than 4 T.c.c. Some of my friends have juveniles from this pair, and they're really stunning (most anyway). | ||
