She will look like a normal, just as she does now. Her bands will break up and turn into spots. But she will be carrying the genes for tremper albino and Las Vegas albino.



According to a post above mine, Kevin Dunne works with Rainwater (aka Las Vegas) albinos. It seems who ever it was that sold you the gecko was just trying to throw in a name to make themselves sound smarter, or they didnt know what they were talking about, or they really think Kevin Dunne produces outstanding geckos. Kinda like how I tell people that my Tremper Blazing Blizzard stud, Darius, was produced by Alex Hue. It just shows that I invested in one of the better known and well trusted breeders who produces top of the line geckos.



As for albino types, there are three well known, and a possible fourth that is well known, but rarely talked about as albino.



There are:

Tremper (Texas)

Bell (Florida)

Rainwater (Las Vegas)



And then there is the eye gene from the RAPTOR project. Test breedings are being conducted right now, and it may take a while to prove out one way or another, but the RAPTOR gene seems to be a new form of albinism. It is the same as the all black eyed Eclipse, only an albino version. The debate is that it is the albino version of Eclipse at the same locus (location on the DNA strand) or that it is the Eclipse gene being affected by the tremper albino gene that makes up the "A" in RAPTOR and APTOR. To prove it out one way or another breeders must either make a non-tremper-albino RAPTOR (a RPTOR) or make a Tremper albino that is also Eclipse and see what the eye color is. Very intresting stuff!!! I wish I could jump in and start testing it out myself, but I dont have the genetics required...
