I actually think there is a good shot of producing red's from the animals he has. Look at that pastel het red! You're going to tell me that doesn't resemble any other pastel het red's you've seen?

And, I can see your point on not calling it a het red until it produces a red axanthic, but even if it doesn't pan out what he has is obviously a co-dom or dom trait. How could it produce a pastel cross like that if it wasn't because I think we can all agree that isn't just a pastel in that picture.
