Posted by: lateralis at Sun Jul 30 14:57:16 2006 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by lateralis ] I have a beautiful pair of longicauda that were born in 2004 and I was wondering if any of you boa aficianados have some experience with these guys. They have never been power fed, BUT they sure have not been starved either! 1 appropriately sized meal every 7-10 days, up from 2 mice a week as they were growing from babies. I switched to a larger meal with more time between once they got to around 2feet. They are now both about 4feet and seem to have grown very little over the last season with one shed a piece. My question is how large do they get ultimately, are they somewhat of a dwarf species? Any insight is appreciated. | ||
