The room is kept at 80-85 daytime and dropped to around 75 at night. I do not have any heat tape or other heat source except ambient room temp. It is a shy snake and I keep it on a lower shelf. It feeds on a small f/t adult mouse maybe once a month or so. I offer it food more frequently but it skips many meals. I have never offered it lizards or lizard scented mice. The animal looks healthy and is quite thick. The animal has been doing well for the several years I have had it. If anything it is obese. I hope to build heated racks this winter but with a new baby coming we will see. | ||
