Posted by: adamjeffery at Thu Aug 3 09:56:01 2006 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by adamjeffery ] i have a female who was very under fed her first 2 years and after i got her she didnt seem to grow much. she is now about 5 years old 160 grams and about 17-18 inches long. this year she appeared to ovulate but i did not introduce her to my male because of her size and he is only a year old 12 inches and 80 grams. do you feel if i can get her to 200 grams by next year it would be safe to breed her? in the last year she has grown quite abit after switching food suppliers, she has probaly grown 2 inches and 50 grams in the last 9 months.
