I'm in the great north east too, and it's been outright nasty lately.



I agree with the previos posts on thermostats, there is no heat once your settings are surpassed.



Anyway, I would say anything 90deg and over(for more than short durations) is excessive for ambiant heat throughout the room.



they need to thermoregulate, needing at least a mid 80's side to cool down.
