I agree with you 100% Rick. Your pics will always come out better outdoors especially in a shaded area. I take ALL of my snake pics in my backyard "studio". I have a few lichen rocks I went and picked up from a friends property up in the local mountains. They are set up right outside one of my back doors so I just put my camera on the tripod frame the rock and then pose the snake the best way he/she will let me and snap the pics.



BTW all three of those leonis you posted are really nice but I still like those thin saddled ones you posted earlier, better.
